As mentioned, there is scope for butterfly farms/parks in several parts of Kerala, probably the most lushy part of India. Only thing is there should be some interested people and the know-how to build such a park. I would find out the details because the University of Calicut, Kerala, running a PG course in Zoology, specializing in Entomology, having a campus of more than 700 acres, has got all the potential for having such a butterfly farm. Thanks for the information.

With more than 100 species recorded here, it covers an area of 7.35 acres of lush green land. This unique park nurtures most of the endemic butterflies found in the Western Ghats including the Malabar Banded Peacock (Papilio buddha), Southern Birdwing (Troides minos), Tamil Lacewing (Cethosia nietneri), Tamil Oakblue (Arhopala bazaloides) and many more.
